2011 ANNOUNCEMENTS!
On November 3, 2011, Wyoming Water Development Commission recommended a Level I Watershed Study for the Middle North Platte River Watershed. The 2012 Wyoming State Legislature approved the expenditure of $250,000 to be allocated to study the watershed and design a 20 year watershed plan for the Middle North Platte River Watershed. On November 10, 2011, Wyoming State Department of Environmental Quality, Water Quality Division, approved $735,000 for Natrona County Conservation District to implement Best Management Practices within Natrona County to improve the health and quality of the North Platte River and its tributaries.
